College Achievers
Goal:
The goal of this scholarship is to support SANY alumni for their success at a 4-year college.
Award Details:
The scholarship includes $1,000/year funding that is renewable up to 4 years. Payments are made directly to the student's account at their college.
Criteria:
To be eligible for this scholarship, students must
- receive either Terra College Readiness Scholarship before graduating from a SANY school or have taken at least 4 college courses while at SANY school and have minimum 2.7 GPA with these college courses to be eligible for the freshman year at a four year college
- attend SANY Schools for at least three years and have the minimum GPA set below for number of semester at a college
- receive 2.4 GPA at the end of first semester at a four year college
- receive 2.5 GPA at the end of two semesters to be eligible for the sophomore year at a four year college
- receive 2.7 GPA at the end of four semesters to be eligible for the junior year at a four year college
- receive 2.9 GPA at the end of six semesters to be eligible for the senior year at a four year college
- a succesfull application with required documentation
- There are a number of requirements for the use of Terra’s College Achievers Scholarship enumerated below:
(a) Student must be enrolled full-time at a four-year college or university during the scholarship semester.
(b) Scholarship funds may be used for the following eligible expenses: tuition/fees, room and board, and/or books; funds must be applied AFTER other scholarships (Excelsior, college/university, etc.) and grants (Pell, TAP, etc.) have been applied.
(c) If other scholarships and grants cover all of the student’s eligible expenses, College Achievers Scholarship funds, or any portion that remains, will be returned to Terra Science and Education.
(d) No cash payments of unused funds will be paid to students.

Students are required to submit the following application form and required support documents via email to
[email protected] or via mail to Terra office. You should apply latest by by August 15 for a fall semester and January 15 for a spring semester to be considered for the scholarship.

College Readiness
Goal:
The goal of this scholarship is to promote college readiness of high school students. This program is available only for SANY high school students.
Award Details:
Students may receive upto $580 based on their performance in specific Regents exams and acceptance to a four year college. It applies only for the regents exam taken by the students who were a SANY student when they took the exam.
- Students may receive $80 for each of the following Regents exam if they perform 80% or higher: ELA, Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2.
- Students may receive $80 for each of the following Regents exam if they achieve 85% or higher: One exam in any science subjects or one exam in any humanities subjects, capped at maximum $80 for each category.
- Students may receive additional $50 for each of the following Reagents exam if they achieve 90% or higher: ELA or Algebra 1 Regents exams.
Criteria:
To be eligible for this scholarship, students must
- graduate from a SANY high school,
- attend SANY commencement ceremony,
- be accepted to a four-year college (does not need to go four year college for this scholarship), and
- achieve the set Regents Exam score in exams which were taken as a SANY student.
Apply:
There is no application for this scholarship, therefore students do not need to apply for it. Terra will obtain the required information for the eligible candidates from school counsilors. The scholarship checks will be given at the schools graduation. Please see your college counselor for more details.

Terra Scholars
Goal:
The goal of this scholarship is to challange students to do their best in their ELA and Math classes and prepare better for college.
Award Details:
Students may receive up to $75. This scholarship is available to all 3-8 grade SANY students who perform at a level 3 or 4 on the NYS ELA and Math tests.
Criteria:
- Students may receive $25 for every NY State math or ELA test that they achieve a score at level 3 or 4.
- Students who achieve level 4 scores for both NYS math and ELA tests may receive an extra $25 reward.
- Students must be a SANY student when the test is taken and the year after by the time the awards is given (Usually awards are given in October or November).
Apply:
There is no application for this scholarship, therefore students do not need to apply for it. Terra will obtain the required information for the eligible candidates from school principles. The scholarship checks will be given at a ceremony in school in October. Please see your school dean for more details.
