Terra is committed to encouraging a diverse and talented international student population in US K-12 STEM education. The Terra STEM Education Fellowship is awarded to well-rounded students who have demonstrated strong academic achievement, and outstanding talent or achievements in math and science areas. A goal of the program is to recruit international individuals with strong STEM backgrounds for serving the critical need for K-12 STEM teachers in U.S. The program seeks to increase the number of K-12 teachers with strong STEM content knowledge who teach in high-need school district. This program is designed to complement the national Robert Noyce Teacher Scholarship Program (http://nsfnoyce.org).
